One option swaps the sit-down meal for a picnic in the vineyards at Salentein, which is worth considering if the weather is good.

Guides are enologists working in English, Spanish and Portuguese, and the framing is educational — terroir, climate, grape variety and how each shapes what is in the glass. At eight to nine hours with a real lunch, it is the most complete day on this site that is still a shared departure rather than a private hire.

Meeting Point

Hotel pickup in Mendoza city is included — there is no meeting point to find. The van collects every guest in turn, which takes roughly 45 minutes, so the first person aboard is riding for most of an hour before the last one is. Ask for a later pickup slot if you would rather not sit through the loop. This is a full-day departure, so pickup is in the morning and you are returned to your accommodation in the late afternoon.
