Two wineries, chosen from a genuinely serious list. In Luján de Cuyo that means names like Terrazas de los Andes, Bodega Chandon and Budeguer, or smaller rural estates such as Martino and Piattelli. In the Uco Valley it means Domaine Bousquet, Andeluna, Sophenia, Piedra Negra, Bodega La Azul and Claroscuro. Which two you get depends on availability at the time you book, so booking earlier widens the choice.

The day is shaped simply: a tasting and cellar tour at the first stop, then a multi-course lunch with paired wines at the second. That structure means the back half of the day is spent eating and drinking at one property rather than being moved on, which is the main reason it rates 4.8 where the big shared departures sit in the low fours.
